My parents... i hate them. today at dinner, i said that i don't like the US, and they got mad! my mother kept going off about how i'm lucky to live in such a great country, that the US is on of the richest countries in the world (even though it's billions of $$$ in debt!), and how if I lived in China or Russia someone could just come in and drag me off. okay, maybe China, since it's a communist country, but Russia hasn't been a communism for years! she wouldn't listen to me when i tried to explain that... she said a lot of other stuff, too. ugh. how would she know? the only other country she's ever been in is Canada!!! aurgh! my dad wasn't helpful, either. i'd probaly die if Angel didn't agree with me.

oh, lol. lately, angel has been saying that China is going to take over America, cuz we're so in debt to them. everytime she brings this up, everyone in our group starts yelling at her that "IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!" hehe. then she said something about people owning oceans... that caused even MORE yelling (Nudge said that i have a whiney yell... my voice keeps getting higher and higher :D)! we must have been the loudest table at lunch today ;) after lunch we asked our History teacher if it's possible that China could take over the US (she said no) and if it's possible to own an ocean (she said no, then went into a long explanation about something that had to do with that)... after school we asked our english teacher if it's possible, and he said probaly not but maybe (which got a "HA!" from Angel) and that you can own thing IN an ocean, but you can't own the actual ocean. hehe.
word spreads quickly at our school. throughout the day, people we barely talked to would come up to Angel and tell her what they think about the china and ocean thing. lol.

You need to take pride in your country. America is a nice country you might not even realize it.
